White collar crime on the rise, warns Hiscox

Hiscox has warned of a rise in white collar related extortion incidents as the recession continues to hit employment in sectors such as financial services.

The insurer said although some countries are seeing a rise in recession-related civil disorder from vandalism or incidents of threats to personal safety such as the reports of French employees holding
