KBW looks at what-ifs for Willis-Marsh merger
With recent news reports that Willis Group Holdings and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts made an offer to acquire MMC, Keefe Bruyette and Woods (KBW) has speculated on the possibility of the combination and the creation of a new company: The Marsh Willis Companies (MWC).
KBW views the combination as financially intriguing with potential benefit to both MMC and WSH shareholders, although execution risk would be significant, in its view.
