Spitzer drops parts of charges against Greenberg
New York attorney general, Eliot Spitzer, has dropped several civil charges against former AIG boss Maurice R. Greenberg from a lawsuit accusing Mr Greenberg of using accounting tricks to hide problems at the company, according to reports.
The New York Times claimed that while Mr. Spitzer’s office characterized the changes as “streamlining” the case, Mr Greenberg’s lawyers said “key claims” had been removed. The amended complaint has
