Deafness test case found against claimants
Judge Inglis has this morning found against the claimants in all seven test cases of industrial deafness, relating to garment factories in the East Midlands.
The judge dismissed the employees’ claims on the grounds that the risk of damage to hearing below 85dB was so small that there could be no employers’ liability for breach of duty for exposingOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
