S&P: SCOR and Converium ratings unchanged by merger deal
Ratings agency Standard & Poors has affirmed both SCOR and Converium’s financial strength ratings at A- following the Converium board’s unanimous acceptance of a revised takeover offer from the French reinsurer.
The agency described the 7% increased offer, worth approximately €100m, as not material to SCOR’s rating and said that the endorsement of the Converium board and the stated commitment of the global
