Tiner sets enforcement priority

The day the Financial Services Authority finally assumed control of regulating the general insurance sector, there were almost 1000 applications for authorisation still being processed.

Under arrangements announced by the government last month, these 941 firms can continue to sell or arrange general insurance on an interim basis until a final decision is reached on their application

FCA vows to keep pressure on premium finance APRs
