NHS and insurers team up against healthcare fraud
The NHS Counter Fraud Service and a group of private healthcare insurers have signed an agreement to work together in the fight against healthcare fraud. This is the first agreement of its kind between the NHS and the private sector.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the NHS and the Health Insurers Counter Fraud Group (HICFG) is designed to lead to closer working and sharing of information in order to prevent andOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
