TCF having no impact on consumer understanding: report
A research paper claims to have thrown into doubt the success of the regulator's Treating Customers Fairly initiative. Docucorp has conducted research with a number of insurers and brokers in the UK, which it said proves customers' understanding of policies is not improving as a result of TCF.
When asked whether they believed that TCF was making a significant difference to customers understanding of policies, five respondents answered ‘to some extent’ but four with an unequivocal ‘no’.
