Machell hails MoD contract win

RAC, the roadside assistance company owned by NU's parent Aviva, has won a 15 year contract worth £600m to supply plant and mechanical equipment to the UK government. Simon Machell, managing director of RAC said: "We'redelighted that Lex Defence, as part of the Amey Lex Consortium, has been awarded this contract by the MoD. This contract represents a significant deal for LexDefence and we look forward to working with the MoD over the next 15 years."

Amey Lex Consortium (ALC) has been awarded the C Vehicle Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract by the Ministry of Defence.

ALC is an equal partnership between Amey, the support services specialist
