Axis Q1 net income driven down by investment losses
Bermudian (re)insurer Axis Capital said that net income fell to $116m from $238m in the first quarter of the year.
The fall in net income was primarily driven by $40m of realized investment losses, a $70m swing from the $35m of realized investment gains that Axis reported this time last year.Operating income
