Wealthier homeowners fail to update home insurance
Home contents values are soaring but homeowners are failing to update their insured sums, according to a survey by insurer Hiscox and valuation experts Gurr Johns.
An in-depth study of wealthier homes, with contents ranging from £100,000 to £500,000, has revealed that the contents originally valued between 1993 and 1997 had risen by more than 50% by the end ofOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
