FSA offers brokers hope with regulatory concession
The Financial Services Authority today reported that by the end of 13 July (GI Day minus six months), it had received 12710 registrations from the general insurance sector to obtain an application pack and 8624 applications for authorisation.
The regulator also stressed that although 13 July was the date by which it could guarantee authorisation by January 2005, when firms will be regulated by the FSA, there was still an opportunity forOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
