Defendants seek to join Thameside as second indexation case goes against insurers
The Judgment in Corbett v South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authority was handed down by His Honour Judge Bullimore earlier today. Kennedys, instructed by the NHS Litigation Authority, represented the Defendant.
The Claimant sought a periodical payment for future care but invited the Court to vary annual increases by reference to an earnings related index rather than the Retail Price Index (RPI).
