AMII to approach issue of PMI claims transparency
The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) is to approach UK private medical insurers (PMI) and the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) to form a discussion panel to focus on the serious issue of transparency of claims information in PMI.
AMII believes the panel should have an independent chairperson. AMII would represent specialist healthcare intermediaries and IFAs and BIBA would represent the wider sector of general insuranceOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
