RIMS backs TRIA extension
The Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) has affirmed its support for legislation extending the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) for an additional two years and has encouraged the US Congress to approve the legislation as soon as possible.
RIMS’ member companies, which include 84 percent of the Fortune 500 corporations, are concerned about the capacity of workers’ compensation and property/casualty insurers to underwrite terrorismOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
