Paris Re plans to lever up in $400m capital return
Reinsurer Paris Re has announced a €20m share buy-back program and plans to organize a return of up to $400m million of capital to shareholders via a debt raising early in 2008.
The share buyback is for 1 million shares over an 18-month period at a maximum purchase price of €20 each, representing approximately 1.2% of the company’s authorised share capital.
