Japanese giant outlines new UK commercial plan
Leading Japanese insurance group Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance today disclosed a business plan to write global commercial business in London. It added the move was in line with the group’s global expansion strategy to pursue sustainable growth and profit opportunities by integrating its expertise and knowledge.
The insurer said it aims to restructure the group company, European Nichido Insurance, which is authorised by the UK Financial Services Authority, and rename it Tokio Marine Global.
