Ex-GAB CEO Nicholls to return to loss adjusting sector

Former GAB Robins UK chief executive Clive Nicholls is to return to the loss adjusting sector in 2009.

Mr Nicholls stepped down from GAB in July 2002, to take the position of managing director of outsourcing business Aquilo. He was most recently customer director of Rok Maintenance.

Mr Nicholls will join Crawford and Company’s global markets management team in the new year where the loss adjusting group said he would be responsible for the management and development of accounts in both Crawford’s multinational and UK business sectors, with particular focus on the international broker market and the London market.

Mike Reeves, executive vice president, global markets said: "Clive will be a very welcome addition to Crawford’s global markets management team where he brings a wealth of experience in the global and UK corporate markets."

Mr Reeves added: "Our new, dedicated global markets team combines strong global claims expertise with the best client relationship management skills and Clive will fit perfectly into this dedicated business unit."
