AM Best leaves Hannover Re ratings unchanged
AM Best has commented that Hannover Re’s ratings remain unchanged following the announcement of its consolidated 2004 year-end post-tax profit of €309m ($422m).
The earnings are €45m ($61m) lower than 2003’s earnings, mainly because of Hannover Re Group’s significant catastrophe losses (approximately €325m [$443m], of which €90m [$123m] is at ClarendonOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
