Highway issues Cox statement
The Board of Directors of Highway has issued a statement in which it says it has concluded that a transaction with Cox Insurance Holdings would not be in the best interests of its shareholders. "Asa consequence" it said "discussions with Cox have been terminated with immediate effect."
The statement says: "The Board believes that Highway has a strong future as a specialist underwriterof motor insurance and as an independent public company. In particular, Highway has theOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
