Meteo Group launches online archive of UK historical weather data
An online archive of UK historical weather data is being launched this week by Meteo Group. The site www.meteoarchive.com provides a database of historical weather information going back ten years which can be accessed by the public and industry in order to werify past local weather events.
Commenting on the launch, Meteo Group UK managing director Andy Giles said: "The process of getting hold of historical weather information used to be time consuming and costly. With the new webOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
