Towergate annual results reveal £2.1bn GWP

The Towergate Family – including TPL, Broker Network, Paymentshield and Open International – has reported total sales (GWP) of £2.1bn, income of £394m and EBITDA of £166m on a pro forma basis for the 12 months leading to 31 December 2007.

The company, which employs 4500 people across its various arms, made 16 acquisitions last year.

It now says it plans to consolidate its main related companies, Paymentshield and Open International
