Bush Administration threatens veto for TRIA extension
The Bush Administration has issued a statement calling for serious amendments to the latest extension of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) Federal terrorism backstop legislation making its way through the US Congress or it would recommend the Presidential veto be used.
The press release from the Executive Office of the President issued an ideological challenge to the Democrat-controlled Congress, opening with the statement that:
