Ex-Hiscox director Sweeney takes new role

Former Hiscox development director David Sweeney has resurfaced as the new director of Sterling Insurance's personal lines division. Post reported in March how Mr Sweeney had left Hiscox in a shake-up at the insurer . He will take over the household business centre responsibilities, as well as the running of the broker sales team and will sit on the main board of Sterling Insurance Company.

Prior to his role at Hiscox, Mr Sweeney was the regional manager for Independent Insurance in Manchester after being promoted from his role as customer service manager.
