SEC broadens finite reinsurance probe
New York-based specialty insurance company Assurant has said that it has been subpoenaed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as part of the agency's investigation into finite reinsurance and insurance.
The company said the SEC requested documents relating to 'certain loss-mitigation insurance products' on May 2. Assurant intends to cooperate with the inquiry, it added.Assurant is the latest company
