Brit renews Augsburg aviation cover
UK (re)insurer Bri has renewed of its binding authority with Augsburg Re, effective 1st January 2008. The agreement, now entering its sixth year, enables Augsburg Re to underwrite aviation non-proportional reinsurance for and on behalf of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2987 and Brit Insurance Ltd.
Augsburg Re is a specialist underwriting agency established in Augsburg, Germany in November 2002.
Back in April 2006 it had been rumoured that Augsburg was in the final throes of raising up to $1bn
