Hannover Re hit by nat cat losses
Hannover Re has announced that its results for the first three quarters of 2004 were hit by what it described as “an unparalleled major loss burden from natural catastrophes”.
The company said that losses from natural catastrophes, including hurricanes in the US and typhoons in the Pacific region, came to €358.6m. As a result Hannover Re’s operating profit for the firstOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
