Arig 07 profit falls on Gonu hit
Arig has announced net profits of $23.7m for 2007, down from $30.4m 2006. The results included a net impact of $9.2m from Cyclone Gonu in June 2007.
Arig’s reinsurance portfolio grew by 50% over the year to reach $250m gross written premium from $166.3m in 2006 on the back of a large life reinsurance book acquired from Scottish Re in mid year and
