Aviva to sponser world record breaking attempt
Aviva, the parent of Norwich Union, is to sponsor Dee Caffari in ‘The Aviva Challenge’. Her bid is to sail solo, non-stop around the world and if she succeeds, Ms Caffari will become the first woman to achieve this feat, setting a new world record.
Ms Caffari, 32, is scheduled to set sail in Aviva from Portsmouth on 20 November. She plans to take the same route as her mentor, Sir Chay Blyth who, 34 years ago, was the first man to sail around theOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
