Bright believed in GCD reports says witness

A second former employee of Independent took the stand on Monday afternoon to give evidence on behalf of the prosecution, writes Mairi Macdonald . Michael Watts, who worked for the company from 1991 until his retirement in 1999, only to return the following year as a consultant, testified on activity within the company between 1997 and 2000.

The court heard that in 1996, Mr Watts was promoted to assistant general manager based in Kent, where had responsibility for regional accounts and claims and reported directly to Mr Condon. Mr Watts
