Allianz drops LV rebrand plans

Allianz UK and LV have announced a new multi-year partnership to continue distribution of insurance under the LV= brand, despite previously planning to phase the brand name out in 2026.

In 2017, Liverpool Victoria sold a 49% stake in LV= General Insurance to Allianz for £500m, before Allianz increased its holding to 69.9% in 2019 through a further deal worth £213m, based on a £1.02bn
