Industry demands small claims limit increase

Several figures in the insurance industry have urged the government to increase the small claims track limit.

The limit, which is the maximum value a whiplash claim can be to be submitted in the Official Injury Claims portal, currently sits at £5000.

Any claims over £5000 and under £20,000 are processed
