Value of weather damage claims revealed
Data analysis: Property insurers paid out the equivalent of £13m every day last year due to events such as storms, flooding and theft.
According to the Association of British Insurers’ property claims data for Q4 2023 published today (15 April), insurers paid out £4.86bn to homeowners and businesses in 2023.
