Bupa’s CS Healthcare takeover clears CMA hurdle
The Competition and Markets Authority has approved the proposed merger of Bupa Insurance and CS Healthcare with the pair hoping to complete the deal in January next year.
The proposal to transfer friendly society CS Healthcare’s 18,500 members and business to Bupa was first made on 4 August with the CMA opening an investigation the next day into whether the merger was
