Aviva returns to pay-as-you-drive market

Aviva has returned to the pay-as-you-drive insurance market, two years after it pulled its personal lines offering, with a launch targeting the haulage industry.

The group first launched PAYD car insurance in 2006, but suspended the policy in 2008, claiming that it had "not achieved critical mass".
