RBS to shed 640 Direct Line jobs
Royal Bank of Scotland is set to cut more than 600 Glasgow-based Direct Line staff, the BBC reports.
The cuts will affect workers at the Atlantic Quay office, which is set to close within three years, although further jobs will be created in the Scottish city.
The job losses come as part of wider RBS
