In these bleaker days of winter, I find it to be a great comfort to look back at the holiday joy and reminisce on a time where there seemed to be a point to the cold and darkness.

Allianz UK’s Toy Appeal in partnership with Barnardo’s was today’s reminder of Christmas cheer.

The insurer collected and matched an impressive 2,350 toys and gifts spreading joy to those who might otherwise have gone without presents during the festive season.
