Acorn Group sees continued GWP growth and steady profits

Acorn Group has reported continued growth in its non-standard insurance business, with gross written premium rising to £803m in 2025, an 8% increase compared to the year before.

Policy count rose 20% compared with 2024, while the combined operating ratio stayed below 90%.

The growth was mainly driven by strong performances across its flagship brands Acorn Insurance, Carrot
