21 businesses vie for a place in latest cohort for Lloyd’s Lab

The Lloyd’s Lab held a pitch day for its 14th cohort earlier this week, with 21 businesses vying for a spot in the 10-week accelerator programme.

Over 150 companies applied to take part in Cohort 14, with the field being whittled down to 21 through three rounds of scoring pre-pitch day.

Of those that pitched on Tuesday (25 March), 10 will get

Lloyd’s profits fall to £3.5bn

Lloyd’s profit before tax fell from £4.2bn in the first half of 2025 to £3.5bn in the first six months of 2026, as lower investment returns offset a "strong" underwriting performance.
