Direct Line to cut 800 jobs
Direct Line Group is cutting 800 jobs over the next two years, the insurer has confirmed.
Its Ipswich branch will close in 2022 with the loss of 300 jobs while its Manchester site will be shrunk in 2021 affecting 420 people with some roles moving to the Leeds and Glasgow offices.
