Zurich weathers H1 storm claims and returns to profit
Zurich UK has seen operating profit rise 24% in H1, as a focus on commercial enabled the firm to avoid huge weather losses seen elsewhere.
The company saw general insurance operating profit of £75.9m, up from underlying profits of £61.1m in the same period last year.
Including the impact of the Ogden rate change, the company saw a 162%
