R&Q profits up by 345% in H1

Randall & Quilter has seen a 345% increase in pre-tax profit in H1 over the same period last year.

R&Q saw profit rise from $1.2m (£940m) in H1 2016 to $5.43 (£4.2m) this year.

The company sold its Lloyd’s managing agency to Coverys in June for $22.6m (£17.4m) a gain of £12.6m over carrying value
