Crime stats reveal 20% fall in insurance fraud
Exclusive: The Insurance Fraud Bureau has issued a cautious welcome to a 20% fall in insurance fraud cases last year.
Annual crime figures from the Office for National Statistics found that reported crime figures fell from 10,850 in the year 2015-2016, to 8692 in 2016-2017. The difference is equivalent to 2158 cases
