Insurers pay out £56.7m in claims every day
Insurers paid out £56.7m to customers every day in 2015, according to figures from the Association of British Insurers.
The figures were up from £51m in 2014, and £56.3m in 2013. Huw Evans, the ABI's director general, pictured, said the figures were meant to restore customer trust in the industry.
