Legal Ombudsman to hear CMC complaints

The Legal Ombudsman is to offer consumers a free route of redress if they have a complaint about a regulated claims management company.

The complaints scheme will be available from 28 January 2015 and is self-financing with fees based on the turnover of the CMC.

CMCs with a turnover up to £24,999.99 will pay an annual fee between £75
