The latest fraud results announced by the Association of British Insurers demonstrate once again that fraud is a risk that our industry cannot ignore as unchecked it will eradicate any marginal bottom lines in what continues to be a tough market for most.
I am also concerned that behind the figures stated by the ABI, the number of detected frauds in 2013 fell indicating that in-house teams have not been equipped with the necessary skills.
