China pipeline explosion sees ¥4.6m in claims
The China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation has received an estimation of ¥4.6m ($755 000) in claims from an oil pipeline explosion in Qingdao province, according to the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
The CIRC said in a statement the accident resulted in 187 claims for 17 non-life insurance companies, with the biggest amount for corporate property claims of about ¥3m for eight policies. The
