FOS receives 1500 PPI complaints a day
Mis-sold payment protection insurance complaints reached 1500 a day in the first six months of 2012, according to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
The FOS said that 81 884 of the 123 414 new complaints received between 1 January and the end of June related to PPI.
Barclays topped the list of companies that received most PPI complaints with 19 522
