I enjoyed the article about the ‘historic’ merger between the 
British Insurance Brokers’ Association and Institute of Insurance Brokers but was a little disappointed that the only broker reaction published came from Stuart Reid, Jon Morrell and Phillip Hodson.

Without wishing to criticise these three gentlemen, I would not regard any of them as prominent supporters of the smaller independent broker. Nor, I suspect, were any of them ever
