JLT buy-in overcomes next hurdle

Jardine Matheson's bid for an extra 10% of broker JLT has received nearly 60% shareholder approval and has been declared unconditional.

Broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson said in September its London-listed, Bermuda registered, Chinese founded backer Jardine Matheson was to take an extra 10% of the company for £166.27m
